– Having a home that is warm, with power, with running water
– Having a husband who loves me, who is lovable, and family who – if occasionally crazy – loves me too
– Having friends who are faithful, willing to travel to see me when I have surgery, willing to forgive stupidity and so wise/funny/kind that they inspire me every day
– Knowing what I’m here on earth to do: write.
– Finally figuring out my stances on politics, social issues, the Bible, and more
– Realizing that I AM a good writer, and that someday – if I don’t give up – I will be published
– Knowing, deeply, just how beautiful this world is
